Join Richard on a quest for autumn color along one of the most scenic drives in all of America, the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina. Using Asheville as the base of operations, both grand landscapes and intimate scenics will be photographed with an emphasis on learning composition, proper exposure with a digital camera, and capturing the striking color of the season. Sunrises, sunsets, waterfalls, river scenes, close-ups, and mountain ridges and vistas will all be on the photographic agenda. Some photography will be done from the Blue Ridge Parkway itself, while other locations will require short, non-strenuous hikes to lesser-known, out-of-the-way spots. Richard will get you to the best places during the day's best light for the very best autumn color of the year. This workshop promises to educate, inspire, and treat your senses to the splendor of a Blue Ridge autumn.
