Antarctic Ambassador
Richard Bernabe was recently named an Antarctic Ambassador by the IAATO, an international organization that promotes safe and environmentally responsible travel to Antarctica and the Antarctic Region of the world.
The Ambassador program was created as a part of IAATO’s Mission and Vision in 2016 to create a corps of Ambassadors to advocate for the Antarctica region, it’s environment, and the wildlife that calls Antarctica home. Richard has traveled many times to Antarctica over the past decade, leading expeditions and photography tours with National Geographic and Muench Workshops. He will continue to travel to this pristine contenent to bring back stories and images for years to come.
