North Carolina Waterfalls Photography Class

In this North Carolina Waterfalls Photography Class, Richard Bernabe will teach everything you need to know about waterfall photography, all while enjoying some of the most beautiful waterfalls of the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. This class will help you create better waterfall images, both technically and creatively, making you a better photographer and artist. In addition to the equipment (the proper filters, lenses, tripods) there will be a heavy emphasis on composition and light for the most stunning results. We will do mountain sunrise and sunsets too!

We resist publishing a detailed workshop itinerary or schedule of locations since the weather and light conditions can vary greatly from day to day and even hour to hour. The greatest amount of flexibility is needed in order to ensure you are in the best locations at the best times. Richard’s knowledge of the area is extensive and he will use that knowledge to maximize quality shooting time.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and all meals during the workshop. Transportation will be arranged via carpool between the hotel and the shooting locations.

We have a block of rooms reserved with a group rate at the Hampton Inn, Brevard (275 Forest Gate Dr., Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, 28768) in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. After registration is completed, you will be prompted to download a PDF that includes the hotel information, as well as a gear list and clothing recommendations. You should then call the hotel directly and reference the Richard Bernabe workshop to secure your lodging. You are welcome to stay anywhere you like during the workshop, but the recommended hotel will be the most convenient since it will also be our meeting place each day.

I have attended five photography workshops with Richard over the years and he is, by far, the most knowledgable person about photography that I know. And unlike many other knowledgeable and talented people, he isn’t selfish about sharing what he knows. His guidance and mentoring have been invaluable to me and I just wanted to thank him. Thank you, Rich!
